Richmond and Kingston make the top five stressful boroughs
"London is pretty stressful, right? And now we know exactly how stressful, according to a new study by private healthcare provider Babylon Health. Using the TensiStrength research tool, Babylon analysed 5 million tweets sent from across the UK for signs of stress, then calculated the percentage of stressed tweets coming out of each local authority – including each London borough.
Perhaps surprisingly, inner-city Tower Hamlets is the least-stressed part of London. At the other end of the scale, its East End neighbour Barking & Dagenham – one of London’s lowest-earning boroughs – is burnout central. Money isn’t everything, though: high-earning Richmond and Kingston both make the top five." - Timeout

On Monday 21 January 2019, The Samaritans are once again turning what’s been described as the ‘the most difficult day of the year’ on its head by renaming it ‘Brew Monday’ and celebrating that great tradition of getting together to talk over a cup of tea.
Across the UK and Ireland, they are encouraging people to take time out for a cuppa and a chat with someone who might be going through a difficult time. They're also asking people to hold a Brew Monday fundraising event.
Over the last 64 years, Samaritans volunteers have helped save countless lives, but as demand for their services grows, they need your support now more than ever.
Please support Kingston Samaritans on Monday 21 January or any day throughout January! If you’d be willing to hold an event and raise funds for their branch, they’d love to hear from you. Please contact fundraising@kingstonsamaritans.org, and they’ll get a FREE fundraising pack sent out to you.
Have a brew. Raise money. Save lives. #BrewMonday

Hi all, Happy New Year everyone! I am relatively new to the area and keen to make new friends/business associates etc. I enjoy socialising and would like to start a curry/supper club, perhaps once a month, with like minded people who enjoy a glass or two of wine and a nice curry restaurant, or Italian, Thai etc...plan is to try new venues each month. I have previously done this before in another area, it’s good fun and a great way of meeting new people. All ages and genders, most welcome.
Please send message or call/text. Looking forward to hearing from you!
