Brew Monday - 21st January
On Monday 21 January 2019, The Samaritans are once again turning what’s been described as the ‘the most difficult day of the year’ on its head by renaming it ‘Brew Monday’ and celebrating that great tradition of getting together to talk over a cup of tea.
Across the UK and Ireland, they are encouraging people to take time out for a cuppa and a chat with someone who might be going through a difficult time. They're also asking people to hold a Brew Monday fundraising event.
Over the last 64 years, Samaritans volunteers have helped save countless lives, but as demand for their services grows, they need your support now more than ever.
Please support Kingston Samaritans on Monday 21 January or any day throughout January! If you’d be willing to hold an event and raise funds for their branch, they’d love to hear from you. Please contact fundraising@kingstonsamaritans.org, and they’ll get a FREE fundraising pack sent out to you.
