On laptop in MSL group, little wheel just goes round and round.

Is there a reason for members areas/towns to be shown twice on the reactions

I appear to have offended Brian (ie Mark) and I cannot remove it, silly Irish jokes apparently have offended him and I would certainly not wish to do that to him of all people. thank you.

When I go to PM's from someone it doesn't go to the most recent one. I have to scroll down for it.

I've just created a post where I wanted to use upper case letters as it was the title of a TV programme which used upper case, I also wanted to use upper case to identify the TV station I was referring to.

A message popped up telling me I couldn't use all upper case for a title.
Is there a specific reason for that?
After all, at the moment the BBC is big news and if I wanted to create a post using BBC as the title it would probably reject it. But I wouldn't want it in lower case.

Just a thought.

i still don't get notifications for any new posts on local, thought this was sorted out before but it seems not as just found some new ones I didn't know about.

In the group MSL there is a thread Funnies, pictures & videos.
When I go to the group and scroll down it doesn't come up even though things have been posted recently.
I can only access it by going through my profile activity.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know there are several issues with latest app release, esp. with notification list. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, we will try to make a new release tomorrow.

I have found I can’t delete a post or comment that I have made. Has anyone else got this problem?

There is still no edit function on Scoopedia so spelling mistakes etc. cannot be rectified.

Can reactions be removed once given?
Notifications do not say which reaction has been given, which would be useful.

My profile shows I have a follower, red circle with the number one inside. When I click on this to see who it is I get 500 Internal Server Error.

Hi all,
as some of you might have noticed, we've implemented this small feature: the badges.
A badge is a type of award given by us (Scooploop) to certain users for a very specific reason (not overall input).

The story behind is that I specifically wanted to say thank you to users who help us find bugs on the site - so this is a very simple way of acknowledging this in more formal way ("Bug hunter" badge). To make this feature less boring, we decided to add two more types: "Witty Individual" and "Helpful Aide".

We've assigned several badges already, retrospectively - I hope no-one feels they've been forgotten. If they do, I still want to thank them for any input helping us making this site better. Maybe we add more potential badges or let users nominate someone for a badge? We'll see.

Why does there appear to be a problem when commenting if you use an ampersand?I want to type B (ampersand) W but for some reason it will not show the second and third characters. Here is an attempt B&W.Is the ampersand a special character and does it need to be included in quotation marks?I'm just going to try - if you can see it the way I want it then it's because the answer is yes. I see that now the number of followers is not shown on my profile, why has this been removed ?

I'm going to try and return the new Acer Eclipse laptop I've just purchased but in case I'm unable to ......

No caps lock light so haven't a clue whether caps are on or off (passwords, etc).

And the world's worst display of email notifications in washed-out grey. I've been in all possible display/colours/contrasts,etc. Can have yellow/purple/blue/green on black/pink/grey but not black on white.
Returns states item must be unopened (Argos) and I obviously have.

Is there a way to turn off email notification on my phone and still be able to receive them on my laptop and PC?

Had notifications that certain people had reacted to my comment but when clicking on it it takes me to the wrong comment, then the notifications disappear,

Is there a reason that a video only plays a shortened version of what's being posted.
Its' such a shame that the beautiful song and pictures to cheer people that I posted this morning didn't play all of the song?

Have any members spotted late notifications (particularly about Reactions - but any others as well).

I'm in correspondence with Scoop because I've had some very late notifications and it appears that I could be alone in mentioning the problem. However I can't believe I'm alone experiencing it.

Could I ask you to check, whenever you get a notification, the date and time of the trigger for the notification. If it is out of sync with the other notifications, please mention it here.

I was absolutely delighted today when I saw SL's new format.
The downvoting facility has been deleted.
What a brilliant move by the SL team and I bid them a million congratulations on a most needed revision.

When sending a private message what does comment ----- undefined ---NaNth --- mean?

I tried to ad a photo on the for sale site but it said this is not a valid image - can you explain please ?

I can't see if there's a way to delete pictures. Can we? Would be useful if the wrong pic is uploaded or I want to update something with the next version.

Was told a couple of days ago no need for the dot in comments box when posting a photo - but without it message comes up ' field must be at least 1 charactor'

I find this facility very useful on Facebook but it doesn't seem to be used here, although long discussions here are just as likely to attract irrelevant comments that I'd like to hide.
Tried a site search but I couldn't find any mention of hiding just individual comments, as opposed to hiding a discussion or blocking someone completely.
Have I missed something or is this a novel topic?

just put a comment on but some of it is missing, when I went to edit it is all there but still isn't on the thread.

On most of my browser on Android screens I've lost the three bars for the menu and spyglass for search.
Is that deliberate?

How can I remove someone from my followers list, I have removed them from friends but their name is still there on followers.
Another thing - can we have some sign/symbol on followers list that shows who is a friend to be able to distinguish between the 2.

Is there a way to get notifications for any new posts that come up in local ?
I only get them for my area but not for the 10m radius on my settings

as you probably already noticed helpful buttons are no longer available.
Instead you can choose to react with 5 other options - hope you like it.
FYI, helpful clicks were turned into "heart" reactions. The app still uses helpful button, it should catch up in next days or so.

Recently, when I click 'reply', the person's name appears OK - but with the cursor on the left (not right) of it. I thought I'd let you know!

Pastime Joss word game latest entry 8 hrs ago There have been new entries in the meantime. I closed the site several times and did reload page. Sometime one sees latest entry other times it stays 8 hrs ago.

I am the moderator for a group and cannot contact a member of the group. I get the following message:
"It is not possible to message XXX due to their privacy preferences."
Could you advise me of how I can make contact with a member without putting a public message on the Group.

New posts are on there but no notifications and only discovered by accident.

My connection to virgin was off all day yesterday & still can’t connect. Are others having this problem?
