Someone tell me they have bee's in their garden. Got foxgloves out, always told the grandkids dont touch as you cant see the bee's inside the flower. This year NO BEE'S, got a cordyline in flower, the bee's love it flock around it everyday, NO BEE'S . Such a shame the bee's have just disappeared. I read in the paper last week someone in Essex set some bee hives on fire just for the fun of it. Then today read some 11 year old boy kicked a duck to death for the fun of it in, in Waltham Abby.

They've started again, getting e mails saying I have paid too much tax - blah blah, coincidentally just 1 week after I have done my on line tax assessment [ bit strange].
I'ts easy for me to know it's a scam because I don't pay any tax but people that do might be tempted to go into the site/

I had to go to Queens today, parked in the disable bay at the ground floor. When we come out see a man going round looking in the cars for Blue badges. This is the first time i have seen this, he found a few cars with the drivers sitting in the cars and no blue badge showing. He had a word with them and they drove off, no ticket, i think they should have been issued a ticket.

Do you think larger people should pay more for their clothes ? ?
logically it makes sense as more fabric and sewing thread is used and I assume it must take a little longer to make them. A double/king size duvet cover or sheet costs more than a single.

On the other hand it can be seen as discrimination and 'fat shaming' and bigger people would need to have more disposable income - it's a contentious situation.

Don't know what it is or when it happened but the bottom of Porters Ave. is taped off and police are there and lots of bystanders. Traffic is being diverted.
One person i asked said it was a big fight but another said a car had mounted the pavement and hit someone.

Just been out in the garden and potted up my plants, all ready for summer. They are stocks, got a lovely smell to them, they were my mums favourites, Now waiting for my summer bedding plants to arrive.

A political row has broken out in B/D after conservatives accused labour of charging residents to collect their green waste. The Tories claim the £40 a year is illegal and they would axe the charge and forward any monies paid to residents if they win tomorrow. Darren Rodwell says the council had adapted services to provide "assisted" collections for the vulnerable and elderly residents. Well I'm a pensioner and ive not been told of this. its either pay or not have your green waste collected.

Seen on television last night - hundreds of police controlling the crowds [or trying to] at football matches. When we are desperately short of police and people wait hours for them to arrive at crime scenes they are being forced to oversee the mobs who cause trouble just because of a game. I know the majority of fans are probably well behaved [ got that in before anyone has a go] but this is a ridiculous situation.

I wish i could have my bedroom window open of a night, but i hear all the noise. Every car that goes by, and everyone talking as they pass by. So never have the window open at night, have a fan on, but its not the same. What do others do these hot nights.

Did anyone see the real full Monty. I recorded it, just watch it today. The boys done a great job with their routine for testicular cancer. But the girls stories, and dance routine had me in tears. I, as most of you , have someone in the family with cancer, not testicular cancer though, so i cant really relate to that. Breast cancer is what i've had in my family so can relate to that. I thank all involved in the two shows, for having the guts to take there clothes off for cancer. Please everyone check yourselves.

If I buy a lawn mower is it okay to leave it outside while not in use ? [don't have shed room for one] also is a rotary type better than a hover for long/tough grass and uneven ground ?

Please people remember to feed the birds this weather. We all like to see them in the garden in the summer, they do need a little help this weather.

I have just found out that the licence fee is to rise by £3.50 - I think that the BBC should have a separate sport channel as this charge is unfair to people who have no interest in sports.
Today on BBC1 there is a total of 16.5 hours of sport and 5.25 hours on BBC2.
I know a lot of people like to watch sports so they would be happier with a channel that was all sport and not interrupted by other programmes like EE or casualty etc. so it would be a good solution for all viewers.

My daughter got my hubby a box of allsorts for Christmas (his favourite sweets) Inside was three bags of sweets, but only in one of those bags was the one he liked best. Yes just one sweet in the whole box, was the blue one with the little dots on. All the rest was the square ones and a few coconuts ones. But just the one little sweet with the dots on. Wont be buying those again, its says allsorts on the box, we didn't get allsorts, we got two sorts.
