Twenty men have been jailed for more than 219 years combined after being found guilty of raping and abusing young girls. Through a series of individual investigations and trials, the men were found to have sexually abused and exploited four girls between the ages of 12 and 16 in Calderdale.

A hijab-wearing Muslim police officer who was hailed as a role model for confronting anti-lockdown protesters faces being sacked from Scotland Yard over her alleged links to a female jihadist in Syria. Pc Ruby Begum, 29, is also accused of posting offensive messages on Twitter where she insulted Jews and mocked the 9/11 terror attacks. She is alleged to have made the comments before joining the Metropolitan Police in 2016 but chose not to delete them after becoming a special constable. Pc Begum, who faces a misconduct hearing, is alleged to have failed during the force’s vetting process “to disclose her association with a female jihadi living inside the Islamic State caliphate in Syria”. She is also said to have an “interest in the teachings of extremist preachers”. And why it has failed miserably despite the ludicrous aspirations of its Administrator? The bold heading "Have Your Say" Is completely Inaccurate and should be removed. It is no more than an echo chamber of one view and opinion, all singing from the same song sheet, not a discussion group at all. With very few members participating it is an extremely boring construct shown by how few members comment on the posts. It has become no more than a bolt hole for those few members to gossip and talk about other members behind their backs. Not only should the heading "Have Your Say" be removed but also the incompetent and useless administrator. You only have to look at the difference between the politics group and anything to see how much the posts on their generate and the difference between the experienced and none biased Clive and the out of his depth Brian. It was bad enough with Alan but now it has hit rock bottom and can not be saved. About time it was put out of its misery. -

The false information claimed that the suspect was a recently arrived asylum-seeker and had a name which suggested the teen was Muslim. -
