Kahuti is closing soon so there's quite a few 'migrants' here to settle in and set up home. We've made some groups (as we had a 25 mile range on Kahuti) to stay in touch but we'd really like to welcome new members and ex-streetlifers to them. I've seen some familiar names on here already.

My daughter is my carer she is 23 and we have been told she can get help towards driving lessons, but we need 2 quotes from 2 different driving schools Info we need is How much per lesson, how many. Lessons she would roughly need and the total cost we live in Woodford.. Is there anyone on here who is a driving instructor or who could recommend someone please. As people either don't get back to me or I'm told it can't be done without booking a payment thanks in advance

My names Sharon, im a mum to four amazing children who have children of there own i have 1 grandson an 3 granddaughters .... My youngest daughter and her partner plus there 2 children 3 an 20 months live with me, an just recently my eldest daughter with her baby has just returned home. I suffer with chronic back pain so dont work, i enjoy doing crafts and I'm hoping from this may be to start earning a bit of pocket money. I was also thinking of maybe getting into something i can do from home for example, selling the candles scentsy or maybe selling home made soaps. Does anyone have any ideas on this or reccomendations. After losing my oldest son nearly four years ago, i have got myself into a rut, apart from goin out with my daughter who is also my carer and spending time at my mums. I stay at home and spend timebplayingbwith my beautiful grandchildren. i have been asked to go out i say yes but when it gets nearer its easier to say no. I want to go to pilates an weight watchers, but cant seem to get
myself out the door to go. So here is me given myself that kick up the backside, to get back out there into the real world. As i would like to meet new people and make some friends along the way. To start off with i was thinking of areas woodford, southwoodford, barkingside to meet up in. If anyone is interested i could always message my number to people. Also i have just started a course in crowdfunding confidential, as I'm really interested in starting up fundrasing this year for people with mental health problems (my son who died had mental health problems ) and the above course teaches you how to get the best out of the site and ways of rasing money. On the 20th December 2017. will be 3 years to the day that my son took his own life. I still remember that knock at the door at 5am in the morning from the police then having to go home an tell his siblings. No parent wants to lose there child before them. In the new year my daughter an as a family we will be doing fundrasing for various mental health charities. First one is my daughter wants to do a sponsored walk. if anyine is interested in joining as or wants more info get in touch thanks regards Sharon. I am looking for a recommendation for someone to strip and replace the pebble dash on our house in Woodford please. I had some great help when looking for roofers on 'streetlife' and hope that Scooploop will work in the same way. I love the idea of neighbours supporting each other.

Im called Sharon and am new to Scoop loop and its set up. I joined in the hope of meeting new people. The last couple of years have been hard for me an my family as we lost my oldest son to suicide, coming up to the third year now and it's still as raw today as it was when we were told. Because of this the last couple of years have not really wanted to do anything or haven't had much motivation. I now feel like I have turned a corner, and would like to meet new people. I would like to go Pilates as have back problems but it's that first initial time of going by myself and would be nice to maybe go for a coffee. Regards Sharon
