today I went to Upney walk in clinic just before 2 pm the free car park was almost empty … a good sign.... when I got there only 2 in eront of me ,seenby a really nice practitioner Tony who was so helpful and concerned so much it certainly impressed me and I was walking out again with much needed antibiotics by 3.15 pm well done the NHS.

what would be a fitting punishment for al the misery they have caused to thousands ?
I would think a jail sentence of at least 5 years, not a suspended one and a 25 year ban on air travel, would be apt.

I had a letter today from a credit card I use telling me about suspected activity on my account , as I thought it a scam I went to the bank concerned rather than give details over the phone. Well it was genuine Woucher had made four attempts to take 199 pounds and all had been rejected by the bank, I have only ever bought from them once and under 20 pounds. My card has been cancelled a note made that I wont buy again from Woucher and I have unsubscribed from their offers.
If anyone else buys from Woucher be aware you could be scammed too.

I actually got round to going to Ken Lee spares today106 North St Romford RM1 1DA what lovely helpful people are, they have the sun/night vision visors in stock and will fit for free the cost is 10.99 pounds , also they will treat my windscreen with Rainex so this winter the rain/ bad weather will roll off my windscreen making it more visible for me and demist my inner windscreen too. A big thank you to the person on Scooploop who recommend these people to me what a godsend.

are they any good ? if the sun is very strong it seems to blind me for a minute or two when I am driving and to me that's dangerous. Looked them up on the net & Halfords sell them went to Chadwell Heath branch and they were not their usual helpful self, they could only bring up on their computer the cheapest one which I was not interested in, no they would not order the one I had seen on Halfords website and no they would not install it and he walked off at that point.
2 Questions ? one are they worth buying and two which garage would do this for me ?

Last year we went to a special Senior Concert at the RHA here the London Philamonic Orchestra played songs composed by Freddy Mercury and I had no idea just how many he had written.

just been watching this on tv, there as been a moped parked in the street propped up by a tree just 2 doors down from me, been there about 8 days without moving ,how do I find out I its a stolen bike ? if so the owner would probably like it back .

Today the dustbins ere emptied and everyone has a sticker on the black bin it states not to put any food in the bins anymore. As we don't have a waste food bin service what are we supposed to do in B&D ? take out food rubbish out with us in a plastic bag and dump it in the council wastebins that are placed near bus stops and the local shops.
No advice given on the stickers

I hate cleaning but then I don't know many who do like it. Which household cleaner is the best I have a whole kitchen that I have neglected and need to bring up to scratch especially cupboard doors and all the kitchen tiles , is there an industrial cleaner I can buy over the counter that will work like magic, Cillit Bang /Flash arent all that in my opinion. I have a Shark steam cleaner but it only does floors I don't have the attachments, Advice from the experts before I go to the shops. Thanks in advance.

I only want to renew one solitary library book, tried to sign in as have done many times before it wont let me. Tried ringing the number given on the renewal notice it just rings & rings, don't want to use automated service as I am bound to press the wrong button ,sent them an e mail as they suggest you can do and its just been returned undeliverable.
Apart from making the trip to the actual library which I don't want to do , any suggestions folks ?

there are repairs being done on above and the roads leading up to the roundabout under the flyover are congested to say the least especially all of Lodge Ave and Woodward Road, I went for my morning papers and it took me round 15 mins to get from one end of Woodward Rd to the traffic lights. Radio says flyover will be closed all weekend.

The EU have been doing research into scrapping the hour time change of time in winter and are in favour of scrapping it ...this I agree with, but what I don't agree with is them once again telling us what to do.

Fashions have changed and she had some now weird hairstyles and outfits but her voice never changed.

Yesterday [Sat 21t July] I wanted to travel from Hornchurch underground station to the Queens Theatre, stood at the bus stop then noticed buses were not stopping and a small notice told me there was no service .Walking to the next bus stop was quite difficult in the hot afternoon sun and it seems to take forever because it was quite a long way.
Surely TFL or Rpmford bus garage could have arranged for a temporary bus stop to bee placed just after the Railway Tavern pub ?

this lady does such marvellous work for animals and every now and then I go to Canning Town to take any old towels, tea towels and sheet & blankets [ sorry no duvets or pilloes] that they desperately need .I shall be going again within the next two weeks so if anyone has any old items they would like to donate I am happy to collect from you.

I just tried to speak to someone at DVLA the charge was £3.60 per minute but I felt I had no choice ! after 3 mins of listening to their bumf I had not spoken to anyone and thought a tenner was enough and hung up.
Is there a cheaper number to call ?
here is my problem I have received in the post the usual renewal reminder but it also states THIS VEHICLE NEEDS AN APPROPRIATE MOT TEST CERTICATE ….so I ran Citreon and they confirmed the car had an MOT on 27/4/18 and they gave me the cert number and said they had passed on to DVLA on that date same as usual.
So not being very good with computer sites I want to talk to a PERSON.

Also there use to be an annual fete well organised in a big field +church flower show in that area the village was off a beaten track off the main road. anyone know where I mean and it still held every year and when , tall order but I am hopeful someone can help, or tell me of anymore such fetes, love coming home with home made cakes and plants.

A friend has just phoned me from Barking Station ... there is no Underground today between Upminster & the Embankment and most other tube lines are running partial services too, there will be replacement buses.
The easiest way to get into central London seems to be Barking station platform 8 to Liverpool St via overhead train then go out of station cross the road and there are plenty of buses to various destinations.
I have no Idea if the Romford/Liverpool St overhead trains are running, as they are often closed down on Sundays to work on the line.

I am a non smoker but I cannot understand why the NHS would allow Vaping in hospitals, or when the NHS is so strapped they would consider giving them out for free ! or pay for research into all this. Pls tell me they will not be allowed on actual wards.
