Good this socialism isn’t it !! Ken Livingston held up this country as something to look up to, well look at the state of the people now. The dictator stuffing meat and the people starving, empty shelves in their shops.

At the risk of setting you off again, please read their latest magazine. Tim Martin, who is the chairman of this highly successful business, is very much for us leaving, he says “leaving the EU without a deal will leave the UK significantly better off than it is today, provided that a sensible free trade approach is adopted”. I agree with everything this man says, he is pure common sense.

Apparently it’s organ donor card week?? So who carries one and who doesnt? I’ll be honest, I don’t, only because i often think if I’m ill in hospital in a life threatening situation, are the doctors going to pull out all the stops for me, or have they got one eye on my body parts, probably daft but ......... what do you scooploop folks think??

I noticed a new greengrocers has sprung up near the heart charity shop in Romford, the premises was originally a lady’s hairdressers, the new shop has taken over a fair chunk of the pavement to show their goods, my question would be is it legal ? The pavement is a legal right of way and should not be obstructed, or would havering council have permitted this?? There was a similar thing in collier row where the owner of a grocers put a lot of his produce on a public seat, he was eventually told that he was not allowed to do it.

It's almost here again, Saturday 28th July. I have attended the last 4 times, it's great, you get to ride an 8 mile circuit (or less if you want) completely traffic free, the circuit starts in leadenhall market, and goes through the city taking in st.pauls, embankment green park, buck palace, Bank of England and lots more, lots of festival zones, music and so much more going on. Great for all the family including the kids and of course completely and utterly TRAFFIC FREE !!! Takes place between 9-4 join any time between those hours and it's FREE !! I love it. More info just google prudential freecycle. See you there ?

All I see on here is -dyed in the wool-socialists or others taking the opposite view. I would love to know if any of these folk have ever been persuaded to change their mind. I have voted for Harold Wilson, Maggie Thatcher, Tony Blair, and latterly UKIP. I am open to persuasion... my family were working class so voted labour, never thinking beyond that concept

I was asked to step in to cover tea break in our line dancing class, and really really worried. To cover for 30 people with tea, coffee, juice and all sorts of combinations. I got on with it. And I produced the right number of drinks !! Everyone was happy...said thank you!! Now that is happiness 😇

I will be going up to the Olympic park Tuesday to see the flypast, apparently 100+ planes taking part, coming over the Olympic park and over buck palace at 1pm so ill be in the park by 12-30, anyone else coming?

I have tried to get travel insurance, as I have cancer of unknown primary, I had to phone as on line didn’t cover they to,d me they couldn’t insure me as it exceeded their £4000 limit......for 1 week in Barbados... 🙀🙀🙀. I have been told since that you can insure normally, tell them about the condition you have and exclude it . Has anyone out there have experience of this type of insurance?

I like cycling and often go out to Raphaels park or Hainault forest etc, but would be nice to have some company, just casual no Lycra and doing miles upon miles, just gentle ride out, stop for cuppa and chat, then back home, anyone interested?? Don't be shy I'm very easy to get along with. Dave

Does anyone own one? Any recommendations? Gtech have one out which looks good, runs for 40 minutes which is plenty for my lawn, but it's quite expensive compared with the others on the market, but I'm a firm believer in if you want something a bit decent, you have to pay the price. Any comments would be appreciated as I'm fed up using scissors :)

Copied from another site, re Brewery Romford, yesterday.
Another mugging
3 teens mugged in the Brewery in broad daylight, forced to take cash out at the cash point. Fortunately video footage was taken and now being investigated by police hopefully they’ll get caught this time! -
Went there Wednesday for a swim, and again tonight for the ice hockey, very impressive, just hope the place stays nice, and they keep the riff raff out.
