Are there any blackberry bushes around? I've come across a recipe for a pie but not sure where to look. They should be ripe and ready around this time of year, I think.

Battersea Community Gardeners (Edited)
I have been working on a new project that brings together two of my passions, building websites and Guerrilla gardening.
I am setting up a new community gardening group open to anyone involved or interested in street or community gardening, Battersea Community Gardeners, check out the website and let me know what you think https://bcg.org.uk
The website is in the final snagging stage so your thoughts, suggestions, comment and corrections are welcome. -

Guerrilla Gardening (Edited)
I have taken to guerrilla gardening in my local area and I would welcome any donations of plants that I can use. In particular small to medium herbaceous perennials or cottage garden flowers. I am also looking for compost which I use to improve the soil so spent compost if still of use to me. I Have transport so I can collect if needed.
I have absolutely no funding for the gardening I do so I am unable to offer any renumeration for any donations.
With Kind Regards,
Paul. -
From 2020 the organ donation system will be opt-out rather than opt-in. I'm really pleased about this, I can't see why it hasn't happened earlier https://www.bbc.com/news/health-45056780

Informal place for an early meeting
I'm looking for somewhere local* to hold a business meeting at around 8am, it's not too formal so a nice cafe would do. Can anyone recommend somewhere that is a) open at this time and b) not too busy to have a business chat.
Thanks!

Guided walk - Sunday 24th - Wandsworth Common to Richmond
Hullo everyone
I'm wondering if anyone's interested in a guided walk on Sunday 24th from Wandsworth Common station to Richmond on the Capital Ring footpath, the landscape and views are perhaps the finest in London.
I've led walks for TfL and various Boroughs for the past 11 years and also occasionally offer them under my own steam. I offered this walk privately for 17th June and have been overwhelmed by the response from my list of interested people. I'm thus proposing a repeat on Sunday 24th so as to form two walks with comfortable levels of participation for all. Below is the initial description that brought such an embarrassingly large response.
---------------
Either seven or 9.5 miles - your choice. We'll use the 'Capital Ring' footpath from either Wandsworth Common or Wimbledon Park stations and finish by the Thames at Richmond. Many consider this particular walk to be the best in London as it traverses the truly rural Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. This is the year to do this as the hard Winter and wet Spring have led to outstanding verdancy. Presently the 20 mile view from Richmond Park shows barely a building for the trees.
The route has three moderately steep ascents and much is not surfaced. Muddy spots are easily avoided and the landscape is of course splendid to sublime. Almost all of the walk after South Wimbledon is 'off road', a remarkable distance for London.
We'd meet at Wandsworth Common station at about 11.00, Wimbledon Park station at about 12.30 and be finished by 17.30/5.30pm.
I don't charge for these walks but will happily accept contributions towards my expenses and time should you wish to make any.
All the best
Ian

Sunrise Yoga at the Sky Garden
I went to yoga at the Sky Garden this morning and thought I'd share how great it was. Thoroughly enjoyed stretching with a view! It would be especially lovely on a sunny day, so I'll definitely be going back in the summer. I would not recommend the class to beginners though because it can be hard to hear the instructor and you might get a little lost if you're not already familiar with yoga.

Walked down Salcott Rd this morning and there is a fly tip of discarded cardboard boxes, one of which has the name & address as above.
