Ukraine Crisis - Is the ISS Doomed ?
The ISS crew comprises of seven people : five astronauts — four American, one German and two Russian cosmonauts.
The ISS is divided into two separate sections - an American and a Russian.
The Russians are responsible for keeping the station in orbit and all taxi rides for the crew to access the ISS and return to Earth, plus all supply trips.
They must be having an enjoyable time in weightless arguments about the Ukraine crisis.
If Russia pull out of their ISS commitments, the crew will be returned to Earth (Russia) and the ISS will no longer be kept in orbit and crash to Earth.

Our airspace in Norfolk is not very crowded. Watched two planes contrails crossing within seconds. Would you classify this as a near miss? or are they playing daredevils.
When flying have seen other planes very closely.
I heard about the Ukrainian soldiers defending the Black Sea island on the radio yesterday and just read it in the Guardian - heartbreaking https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/feb/25/ukraine-soldiers-told-russians-to-go-fuck-yourself-before-black-sea-island-death
it is small and in a tiny pot, it bloomed at Christmas for the first time giving 9 flowers.
Now it is in bloom again and has 4 flowers out and another 8 flower buds.
is this unusual ?
I did a load of washing in my machine including a safari jacket.
In the pocket was a mini torch, which I forgot to remove.
It spent 40 minutes being washed in hot water, tumbled and high spinned.
The torch came out of the pocket and I could see it being tumbled around.
After the wash had finished, I tested the torch and it still worked perfectly !!
Has anybody else mistakenly put articles in their washing machine ?
Good idea maybe a prison sentence as well?
Have you seen this? Water companies are still releasing raw sewage into rivers more than 1,000 times a day.
It’s absolutely shocking - but there’s a glimmer of hope. The head of Ofwat, the UK’s water regulator, said last week that water company bosses’ pay should be directly linked to the pollution they pump into our rivers. You can bet they’ll start taking sewage pollution a lot more seriously if their paychecks are at stake!
This is a great idea, but it’s not yet reality - and it’ll take a lot of work to stop water companies shooting it down. That’s where we come in! If thousands of us sign an open letter today in support of Ofwat’s suggestion, we’ll show them - and the government - that there’s massive public backing for this.
A huge show of public support right now could give Ofwat the confidence to hold water company bosses to account over sewage pollution. Will you add your name to the open letter today?

When can you not claim your free lucky dip lotto ticket?
A. at my local Wilko shop.
A lady in front of me had just paid for some items, when she said to the member of staff, "I've also got this lotto ticket that has won a free lucky dip, how do I claim it".
The staffer asked her where she bought the ticket. The lady said Asda. The staffer said she had to go back to Asda to claim her free ticket.
That is so wrong, you can claim any winning lotto ticket at any retailer. Unless the win is over £500 when you can only claim at bigger shops like Sainsbury or Tesco or the Post Office.
Wilko have done similar before to send customers away. Once telling a customer asking for a refund they had to return to the shop where the item was purchased

The Ukraine situation may remind us of Berlin and the wall that used to divide the city between the East and the West. But did you know that it's not, however, the only one of its kind. The small village of Mödlareuth was situated on the border of West and East Germany and was divided by a wall until 1989. It earned the nickname "Little Berlin". The effect can be seen by visiting it on Google Maps or Googling images of the town.
