A worrying possibility?
Supposing Donald Trump loses the forthcoming election (as seems likely) and then decides to step down as President, making the Deputy President Mike Pence the President for the rest of the term. President Pence then gives Donald Trump a presidential pardon for any crimes he may have committed including tax fraud, corruption, assault or whatever.
So Donald Trump walks away with no possibility of him being taken to court or jailed.
It would be an outrage, but is it possible?
