Brooklands is a lovely place to visit anyway, though

Much it seems is happening in Addlestone with all the new building going on. Waitrose has opened its fine new store which I'm pleased about as I like to eat good quality veggies and fish. They also stock good wine.
A hotel also seems to be finished, Travel Lodge if I remember correctly. Not sure of what else will be included but think a small mall of shops, heard some say a cinema. Whatever is there I hope it includes a gym. It will be great to have such amenities close by so I don't have to get in my car and drive in our dreaded traffic. Anyone knows more precisely what's going on please let us all know.
