Hey everyone, I came across this website when researching volunteer roles in the area and thought some of you might find it useful:
http://www.communitybarnet.org.uk/pages/volunteering.html
You can also advertise if you're looking for volunteers.
They do lots of good things for the community, like gardening, helping with seniors and young children amongst other things so there's plenty of options to choose from. There's lots of events planning and admin tasks too which could be great for anyone looking to get work experience. -
There is always so much rubbish and dirt in Hendon Central, especially around the bus stops. I wonder if this has always been a problem or if it's relatively new? The other towns in the area are similar, Burnt Oak for example is somewhere I don't like to visit at all and Edgware is slowly going downhill too. I think the whole area needs a bit of TLC.
