      Vaccine Warning

      I can not see the Covid section therefore posting the Warning here.

      Regulators have issued a warning that people who have a history of "significant" allergic reactions should not currently receive the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine after two people who had the jab on Tuesday had allergic reactions.



      Two NHS staff members who received the vaccine on the first day of the mass vaccination programme suffered an allergic reaction, the NHS in England has confirmed. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has given precautionary advice to NHS trusts that anyone who has a history of "significant" allergic reactions to medicines, food or vaccines should not receive the vaccine.

      New member self introduction

      I am a new member
      Therefore I think it is proper to give some introduction. I have been living in loughton since the late 1960-s bought up our children - 1 girl, 1 boy - and now I have 4 adorable granddaughters. The oldest one is 24 and works in New Zealand and I just talked to her using Skype. I used to design computers when hey were as big as houses but since they were reduced in size to imitate pocket watches I realised that I no longer know anything about computers now called PC-s. I also belong to LRA and where our main aim was to safe guard the excellence of Loughton for its residents.
