A table has been booked at the Mandarin Palace Chinese restaurant for all the lovers of Oriental food.
Unfortunately, I can’t find a menu to link and they don’t have a website.
Plenty of buses available to Hornchurch - 256, 248, 193, 370, 252, 372, 165 and a 365 that stops at Abbs Cross Lane
Car Park in Fentiman Way behind the shops.
Anybody fancy this?

October Dinner Date Wednesday, 23rd October 2024 7pm A table has been booked at The Ivy Tree in Romford. This is a new restaurant that is in the place of the old Wetherspoons pub (World’s Inn). Please note that there is a choice between two courses (£20.49) or three courses (£23.49). If you want to finish with a coffee or tea and mince pie, that would be an extra £2.50. I am taking names and deposits now as they do get busy and I want to fit in as many that would like to go. -

Not sure about car parking, there is a forecourt shown on google maps, but the picture is three years old. Also single yellow line shown outside in the road. Would anybody like to go for some Turkish food? -

The restaurant didn’t have an eat in menu for me to take away. I’m told that both menus are the same, only to eat in, the prices are dearer. They do not only serve fried and grilled fish, but also, chicken, kebabs, pies etc. Buses 174 and 498 go past the door. Anybody interested? -

It was only mentioned to me this week and as we’ve not eaten here before, let’s give it a go. Gidea Park Station is very close by. Buses 496 and 294 stop at the station. There looks to be eight parking places on Balgores Lane bridge, free after 6.30pm, but please check for yourself. Who would like to go? -

This is a little earlier than usual as I’m told that the kitchen is only open until 8pm. I hope this is okay with everyone.
