I vaguely remember there was a discussion on here before about this. I had one in my last abode which was fine. Due to various problems caused by the fitter who did both kitchen and bathroom here, I can't have a drinking tap installed in the granite worktop. Shower head which is the size of a breakfast plate now is only delivering water through half the holes. I've had a friend unscrew and take it down a couple of times for cleaning but it's now happening very regularly and I can't keep asking people to get it down for me. It's situated about 4" from the ceiling (the plumber was 6'4) on a pipe that comes out of the wall.
Would anyone know if it's possible to extend the pipework and lower the shower head - one plumber says yes and another says not without going into the wall through the tiles.
Also, did I read that there is an attachment that can be put on pipework that softens water without having a salt-unit put in.
Apologies for ramble.
