Vanishing coins and mysteriously changing ticket
Decided to buy a few lucky dip tickets for Wednesday's Lotto draw. Only because it's a "must be won" draw. I'm always crystal clear what I'm asking for, specially when its not for tonight. "Can I have a lucky dip for Wednesday lotto please". If they query I say, "yes for tomorrow".
I was wearing my big water resistant coat with big pockets that you can put a hand straight down into. No way any coins could fall out. I had 3 poind coins in the jpocket and bought a ticket from Londis. All went well. Then I went along to a shop called Harry Allsorts. As I only had 1 pound, I paid with a fiver. The shopkeeper handed me the ticket which I looked at and thought the numbeers were similar to the other shop, and he handed me 3 poind coins in change. I put my hand with the coins into my coat pocket and let the drop onto the other coin. I could feel all 4 coins with my fingers.
I'd only walked a few yards from the shop when I put my hand back into the pocket thinking I could buy one more in Sainsburys as I'm doing food shopping in there anyway. Put my hand in and felt, just 1 coin. The other 3 had vanished. I felt all around incase there was a hole, also checked all other pockets incase I have become Dynamo. Have absolutely no idea where they vanished to.
When I got home another strange thing had happened. Took the 2 tickets out of my inside coat pocket and the 2nd one is now a Euromillions for tonight. How did that happen?
