The Irishman
With Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino.
Its epic. Three and a half hours long.
A tale of comradeship, loyalty and ultimately betrayal. Covering decades and using CGI to assist the process of ageing.
A masterpiece?
I found the first hour hard going, the second interesting and at times exciting and the third moving, the final half hour thought provoking and emotional.
Exceptional acting by DeNiro and Pacino with Joe Pesci as the third member of the mob. The 30 minute conversation after the film is a must see.
