The British Tribe Next Door
I've not watched this yet so can't really comment, but it is getting mixed reviews from what I read in the Mail. Some say it was a really good social experiment, others say it exploits the Himba and is white saviour bullshit.
My initial thoughts are; It would've been better with an ordinary British family rather than the fame obsessed Moffats. The Himba are not as primitive and naive as they look. They just prefer to live their traditional way of life. But their mud hut villages are not that far from modern towns. There is evidence on the web of them shopping and they probably have a 4x4 hidden behind a tree.
