That moment you realise the bargain you thought you had, isn't
I have been caught out again by Wowcher showing me an item for sale at one price and also showing me the much higher price they claim it was being sold for. Making it look like a bargain.
it is elder sisters birthday this week. She wanted a pair of shoes or money to buy a pair. I looked on Wowcher and found a pair of ankle boots from Redfoot Shoes. They look good and were £32.99 down from alleged original price of £92.99. Thought that's a bargain and waited for sis to come round and choose a colour.
A little while after ordering I googled Redfoot Shoes. they have a website. They sell direct. The shoes I paid £32.99 for are on there for £27.99 full price. So not such a bargain after all.
