Subtitles on Iplayer
Dad wanted to watch The Met - Policing London on the Iplayer today. I put the subtitles on as he willl keep asking me to turn the volume up a bit. But they were useless. They were so out of synch with the sound. The 3rd phrase was being spoken when the subtitle for the 1st phrase appeared on the screen. it was ridiculous.
A couple of times they almost caught up, but then they had a bit with talking and no subtitles and it went back to two phrases behind again.
I think the issue is caused by the warnings of offensive language and scenes that some might not like etc.
