Sticking with the potato theme
This line from episode three of, Rules of the Game, by Maxine Peakes character Sam just had me in stitches.
At the weekly cheese club Sam says that her teenage daughter will be going to work with her as a work experience. One of the other women says, "that must be wonderful taking something you've grown to work".
Sam replies, "It's my daughter, not a potato".
