The Council has informed us about a cluster of Covid-19 cases at a Royal Mail sorting and delivery office at Vinson Close, Orpington BR6 0PJ (total staff numbers c.136).
Over the past three weeks they have had 10 cases; while some have had links to community or household cases, there are a small number of likely workplace transmissions. Managers at the sorting office report adequate control measures being in place, including social distancing, environmental cleaning, hand hygiene and facilities.
Public Health and Environmental Health will be giving advice and support to ensure the building is Covid-secure and to help prevent further cases.
