Report Score - money thieving scammers
My sister was checking her online banking account yesterday and noticed a debit of £31.99 with the name ReportScore.co.uk next to it. She looked up their website and it was nothing she recognised and is totally sure she hadn't signed up for anything like their service.
She tried to send them an email to ask for a refund and cancel any more payments. The sending failed saying it was spam.
I said to her, go into the bank tell them what happened and get them to stop the direct debit as the website says its £31.99 per month. Well the lady in the bank knew exactly who my sister was talking about. So much that she got ushered into a room to talk to a member of the fraud team. He asked her if she had been looking at any payday loan websites. She said she had looked at QuickQuid just out of curiosity to see how much it would cost, but had not taken out a loan. He said QuickQuid use ReportScore to do their credit checks and also sell your information to them to sign you up to their monthly payment scheme.
