Regarding the issue of "unauthorized" posts to closed loops

We have been investigating an issue where a user was able to post to a closed loop despite not being a member of that loop. Special thanks to the user who reported it.
It has turned out that due to a bug introduced on Thursday night, some newly signed up users were able to post to any loop. The glitch resulted in some users making "unauthorized" post to loops without them being aware. This only affected users who signed up since Thursday. It did not give them any other permissions and probably confused them as much as the moderators of those loops.
From what we can see, only a very small number of such posts have been made.
This bug is now fixed and we apologies for the confusion caused. However we continue to look into some other issues and will post updates as they become available.
