I have always loved smoked haddock but I can't abide so called smoked fish that's been "dyed". My husband has just come back from a trip to Tesco at Roneo Corner. I had asked him to get me some smoked haddock for my tea. He went to the wet fish counter to purchase some only to be confronted by the counter full of fish with labels stating, "traditionally smoked haddock. Dyed). Surely that's a contradiction in terms. If it's traditionally smoked, why is it dyed? It's nonsense. Anybody got any ideas? I'm going to contact Tesco customer services too by the way.
