Music from Turtle Island
I only play music made by the First Nations people of North America. Yup there is some traditional but the majority of it is contemporary, Rock, Blues, Country, Folk, Hip Hop, Experimental, Electro you name the style and I've probably played it.
Did you know that Link Wray who recorded Rumble (The single is the only instrumental ever banned from radio in the United States and one of the first tunes to use the power chord, the "major modus operandi of the modern rock guitarist") was a Native American of Shawnee decent.
To be clear, I make the shows and give them to the stations gratis I don't make any money for doing this.
I guarantee you wont have heard 95% of the music I play I mix up the styles much like John Peel used to do so there will always be something that you'll like.
The show goes out every Wednesday evening at 11pm on Resonance FM but all my shows are archived and links to em can be found at the site. https://turtleislandradioshow.co.uk/
