    Information, tips and myths - No.45 - OneDrive is not a backup

    Despite Microsoft advertising it as such, OneDrive is not a backup. If it is installed on your computer, its purpose is to synchronise files, not to back them up. A backup does not change, if you delete files on your computer, whether on purpose or by accident, they will be deleted from OneDrive, and from any other computer connected to it.
