Information, tips and myths - No.30 - Find the location of a file on your PC
1. Click Start.
2. Click File Explorer (three icons up).
3. On the left click 'This PC'.
4. On the far right you will see a 'Search Quick access' box, type the file name into the box and press enter. You may see a progress bar.
5. Your file will appear in the middle of the screen.
6. If the file's location is not shown, right-click it and select Properties, you can then see the full path of the file in the general tab.
