I don't know if any other Scooploopers have thought of this, but on lorries, the snow that settles on top of high sided trucks turns to a massive sheet of ice when the temperature drops. If the driver has to brake sharply, or even for no apparent reason the sheet of ice slides off at an amazing speed, and heaven help anyone that's driving to close too the truck.
Even if the roads have been well gritted and look safe to drive normally there's still hidden hazards, so, please everyone, keep an extra safe distance from all trucks as long as we are having this terrible weather.
