Hopefully my last posting about Covid-19

unless I get triggered. Going to try to be reasonable so this doesn't become another flame war. So here goes.
I think everybody up to retirement age and even some older folk, who are generally healthy with no life affecting medical conditons, should be living life as they were before the first signs of "this new Corona virus" was mentioned. No face masks, no enforced distancing or restriction on people in a room. If they catch Covid, 99% will get over it in a few weeks at most.
Elderly people who are frail, and those in care homes and hospitals should still take precautions by wearing a face mask and keeping to the social distance. Also those visiting them should wear a face masks
We shouldn't even be considering going back to mandatory mask wearing in shops and public buildings for everyone. If we did that, for what is now a virus milder than Flu, it would be never ending.
Even the wearing of masks that I agree with is just to make the older people feel safe as all the evidence is that they make no difference to whether you will catch Covid.
