On the Al Jazeera news channel all this week they are running a series during their Newshour called Gaza - One Year On. Each night from a different perspective.
Last night they looked at how some of the false Israeli propaganda about the events of October 7th 2023 have been debunked.
The propaganda. Babies were beheaded. The truth. There is no evidence of any babies being beheaded.
The propaganda. Women were raped during the attack by Hamas. The truth. There is no evidence of any rapes during the attack.
The propaganda. All hospitals also double up as Hamas military bases. The truth. There is no evidence that Hamas are based in hospitals. The films that the IDF showed of tunnels and secret rooms under a hospital were made using AI. The IDF commander pointing at Hamas instructions on the wall, was actually pointing at a calendar.

I think Netanyahu's big mistake was making his number one priority to fight Hamas and forget the hostages. He should've put every effort, and those around him, into negotiating the release of all the hostages. Even if it meant releasing every jailed Palestinian. Only then should the military option be used.
He will be making a big mistake if he decides on a full scale war against Hezbollah. According to Al Jazeera's middle east military expert, Hezbollah have at least 150,000 rockets compared to the few thousand owned by Hamas. Also their fighters have had full military training.
