Energy prices increase to be 54%

That’s the choice millions of us already faced, even before today’s catastrophic energy price hike news. [1] Now, we know that from April the average household will be forced to pay an extra £693 a year on their gas and electricity. [2]

The Government knows people can’t afford this. Rishi Sunak, the Chancellor, just announced a new loan scheme: £200 off your energy bills - less than half the amount they’ll increase by. And you’ll have to pay it back. [3]
The pressure is mounting. This news is breaking all across the media and people up and down the country are realising what this means for our bills. [5] Together, we can make sure the Chancellor knows how we feel – and that we expect him to do much, much more to help.

So, , will you sign the open letter telling Rishi Sunak that too many of us simply can’t afford this hike – and that he has to do more to tackle rising bills? For every 100 signatures we’ll send an email to the Chancellor Rishi Sunak, notifying him.
