Disappearing ampersands!
Sorry, this is another of my highly detailed bug reports that's only of real interest to the tech team. Others feel free to ignore!
This curious bug is catching people out.
When you type certain colloquial abbreviations in certain editors, they are being mangled, or at least, truncated so as to be meaningless. Two specific examples have been seen, but I'm sure the problem is more generic: try typing M & S (Marks and Spencer), or A & E (Accident and Emergency) without the spaces, as would be a common shorthand on a site such as this (like this: M&S A&E ) and see what happens.
It certainly affects the post editor in the Android App. What's more, you cannot enter a character entity (& amp; without the space) as a workaround, either. (This is just the latest in a range of weird behaviours exhibited by the varying editors used on Scooploop.)
