BMW Franchise
I’m currently at my nearest BMW franchise. My BMW is almost a year old only. I had an “oil overfill” alarm appear this morning. Phoned BMW at this location and told to bring it in. Great. Until they told me they’ll need to keep it for a minimum 12-14 hours!! Ok I say. I’ll have a courtesy car please, only to be informed they can’t supply one at the moment, but if you want to bring the car back tomorrow afternoon, they can furnish a courtesy car. So I enquire, “so is it ok to drive my vehicle whilst this alarm is showing?” Their reply? “We won’t know until we do a diagnostic check!” Doesn’t instil much confidence in BMW I’m afraid. I’m now waiting for a friend to come and pick me up from the dealership!!
