    Blocking numbers on a landline

    I've blocked quite a few numbers and it's been successful in stopping them.

    This week I've blocked a number but it's still ringing. I'm assuming it's because they are not actually calling from the number being displayed.

    Is there anything I can do to block them properly? I don't have one of the BT Call Guardian phones, just an ordinary phone.
