Blended families
Long story short...
My kids dad had a daughter when we got together. We had our 2 kids and got divorced. He had another daughter not long after but didn't keep in touch with her.
Whilst she grew up I had her overnight to spend time with my two and we had trips with the first daughter.
After getting divorced I found out my ex had another secret son who was born the same time as my first born. I asked the kids if they wanted to find him but they said no.
This son recently found them and reached out through Facebook. They chatted and yesterday , round the eldest daughters house, the 4 siblings met and welcomed their new brother with open arms.
With an absent and I have to say uninterested dad, they are the most loving, caring brothers and sisters you can imagine. All with different mums but bonded through compassion. I was a very proud mama yesterday. I guess my message is all youngsters arent bad and that even the most complicated family stories can end beautifully.Love is a powerful thing ❤️
