• Big thank you

To all of you who are helping me rescue cats in need. Once again I appreciate very much your donations.
Thank you also to Suzy P who kindly collects one off and monthly donations. Alternatively it can be done directly to my vet’s account.
Flea and worming treatments are a regular big expense.
Rarely a day without being asked to take on an abandoned or unwanted or stray or feral cat or several.
I go without a lot in order to help as many cats as I can. Not that being able to watch TV would help my morale these days. Now used to be without. I am extremely grateful for help as fund raising car boot sales are not on and if the weather is as wet as last year’s it will not be very successful.
I am surrounded by car boot sale items in my house and garden and lack space so have not been able to accept more. Renting a garage is a minimum of £40 a week so not an option to consider.
Rescue expenses are not just food and vets bills. Transport is also costly. My car needs brake pads and a service and shock absorbers. Carrying heavy loads of cat litter and storing it in car does it no good. Insurance quote to renew has gone up 50% though not claimed.
The garden cat room is still without electricity so warm beds and duvets are the alternative to heating sadly.
My house is not being maintained as my money must go towards vet’s bills instead.
Long Covid is not helping me much with taking care of house and garden as my energy is very limited as well as funds.
Cleaning is now mostly done by hand rather than with the help of vacuum cleaner doing my best to keep electric bill low and so on.
This is how it goes when you decide to help as many cats in need as you can. Too many are rehomed to people who should not have them in the first place. Consequently I am rather demanding when rehoming.
Fostering and rehoming offers are rare. So I need to travel quite a way to find suitable homes. I don’t have to go far to take on cats in need of help…
Forever moaning due to rescue challenge. Bad enough with life nowadays…
Your donations have been and are very much appreciated as it helps me help more cats in need let down by irresponsible previous owners.
Would be real good if I could find suitable local people with a big heart and a spare room who could foster.
    Thanks again for latest donations
