• Before the winter chill

    Found on BBC iplayer
    2013 French subtitled psychological drama.

Reviews were varied and I felt that some critics had not watched the film as they did not seem to understand it. One said it was fragile and confused!
I found it thought provoking, clever and at times touching.
There certainly was a twist at the end.
Kristen Scott Thomas as the wife of the neurosurgeon was exceptional.

The story is about how a thirty year marriage starts to unravel as the husband appears to be being stalked whilst the wife starts to believe he may be having an affair.

    I would recommend it.
