Another thing the EU leavers wanted that has backfired
One of the reasons people said they voted to leave the EU was to stop workers from the EU coming here and taking "our" jobs. Mostly farm labouring jobs. Well most of the EU workers from Poland, Romania and Bulgaria have gone home and not enough UK workers are taking their place.
So now the farms are having to bring in workers from beyond the EU and it has government backing. There are now farm workers here from Ukraine, Kazakstan and Moldova.
