An Interesting Sum
Having just received my Interest Certificate from the bank telling me that for the last tax year they had paid me the princely sum of £1.68 in interest.
Out of interest I calculated what my average monthly bank balances were found that if inflation had been only 3% I "lost" £371 of value. Just shows that it doesn't pay to keep assets in cash.
Keep it a secret but of the £1.68 but I owe the Tax Man 16.8p in unpaid tax which he can have if he calls round and collects it.
