Visiting Horniman Gardens On A Sunday
I visited Horniman Gardens in #Dulwich briefly last Sunday, including the "Horniman Sunken Gardens" and the small Farmers market. Includes a small musical "live performance".

The canal opened in 1809 and originally connected #Croydon and the Grand Surrey Canal at New Cross. It was 9.25 miles long. However, the canal was never a success and already closed in 1836. The section at Betts Park was used as a boating lake, an area then called Anerley Tea Rooms.
The only bit of the canal still in existence nowadays is at Betts Park, south-east of Crystal Palace Park. -

Brixton Series Part 3 of 3 - Brixton Railway Station
All shops under the #brixton railway station are now closed while the arches in Electric Lane await refurbishment and will be mostly replaced by new businesses in the future. Includes footage from the old massive murals inside the station.
