Has anyone been to Wimbledon this year? Something I have always wanted to do and imagined going to. Cant think of a lovelier day out than sat there when the sun is shining.

Wanted to remind people of our local gem Hainault Country Park forest trails. Although the park is quite popular lots seem to overlook the brilliant forest here. Lots of walking trails. Its also one of the few remaining sections of the former Forest of Essex x

Saw this ginger boy on Redbridge cats trustand said I would share, the care home where he was the resident cat has closed down and he needs a new forever home. He's so gorgeous and has obviously been much loved and taken care of. I'd have him but he needs to be an only cat and I've already got two furry girls.

CASE UPDATE: ESSEX areas IG7 6, IG1 3 and RM5 3

We confirm social media reports that we and police are currently looking into two incidents, one in Chigwell and one in Ilford, which are being investigated in relation to Operation Takahe.

We are releasing this after consultation and agreement with the police team, on the grounds that these were areas that were unusual and residents have a right to know about them. We are also trying to establish the identity of one of the cats.

If anyone is missing a young or young looking black and white cat, with one front paw mostly black and a white sock on the end, the other front paw being mostly white in or near the areas mentioned, please contact us on 07961 030064 or 07957 830490.

I posted that my kitten was chased out of my garden in barkingside today I have come to know that there has been some sighting of a cat that fit the discription see on Fullwell avenue. Please if any one round there seen him his ginger has a collier brown with heart sharps and his micro chipped. Kindly let me know
