Here’s another of the new style quizzes. The challenge for you is to provide a list of 10 English airports that contains ones that you think others may be less likely to choose. I’m looking for airports which serve international flights either scheduled or chartered (for packaged holidays not private). So not including, for example, Biggin Hill, Manston, Penzance, Land’s End etc. The winner would be the person whose list contains the most airports that no-one else has chosen. No use of reference material or the internet to ensure fair play. Good luck.
BTW There are 20 such airports in all according to my internet search.
REMEMBER - NO POSTS instead you PM me with your guesses any time up to midnight tonight. If possible, please wait until you've completed all the guesses you want to make to avoid too many PMs and to make my job easier. So no hurry and it doesn't matter when you submit the answers because I'll be judging them solely on who has the most correct - and in the event of two or more being level it will be a tie. Feel free to change your mind on an answer you may have already given. I hope this is clear and good luck. Tomorrow I’ll post the names of the top entries. (less) -
Here’s an altogether more difficult challenge if you’re up for it. You take the three major city centres mentioned below and work out or guess which foreign country you would first cross if you set off in each of the four main directions. A small clue – you may need to go round the globe through the north or south pole. No use of reference material or the internet of course to ensure fair play. Good luck.
