The City Osteopathy and Sports Injury Clinic is the oldest osteopathy practice in the City of London.
It was set up in 1938 by Walter Max, a renowned practitioner who for decades was the only osteopath in the City. Mr Max eventually retired in 2002 at the age of 87.
The clinic is now run by Dr Igor Artsybushev MBBS, BChir (R.F.), BSc (Hons) Ost. Dr Artsybushev was born in Moscow where he qualified as a doctor at the First Moscow State Medical University, specialising in Abdominal Surgery. After moving to the UK he studied at the British School of Osteopathy.
