Words beginning and ending with D quiz
I have identified 25 words of between 5 and 8 letters that begin and end with a “d” and which might be reasonably likely to arise in ordinary conversation/discussion or in fiction or non-fiction books etc. BUT this doesn’t include past tenses or any other words ending in “ed”. Your challenge is to name as many of the 25 words as you can for one point each. I am aware that there are a number of valid words and you can list as many as you like - but only ones in my list of 25 of the commonest will count. Proper nouns/words that begin with a capital letter and hyphenated words or words containing apostrophes or slang words are not allowed. To help, I have indicated below how many words I have found in each number of letters. No use of reference material or the internet of course to ensure fair play. Good luck.
