To celebrate Valentine's Day, From Wednesday 12 to Saturday 16 February, a giant red love heart, 'With Love', by French artist Franck Pelletier shall illuminate Hardman Square.
Previously seen in destinations such as Singapore and France, 'With Love' will take the pulse of the city by sensing the light, temperature, and atmospheric pressure, which will then be converted into flashing lights to represent the 'beat' of Manchester.
In front of the installation, couples, friends and families will also have the opportunity to hear their hearts through music, with a special song played based on their unique heart rate.
