Join artist Tracey Elizabeth Downing for her “Enfolded” workshop, exploring collage, image and text in lovely little concertina sketchbooks. At Sprout Arts on Thursday 21st and 28th April 2022
No previous experience necessary just curiosity. Materials provided but feel free to bring any small objects of significance; a favourite cup, ornament or item of clothing; Photographs; Newspaper clippings or a book (that you don’t mind cutting up).
You will take away a lovely A7 sea-white hardback concertina sketchbook with contents created during the workshop, there is no expectation for you to take away a finished article, I use my concertina’s as a way of visually recording what I notice and I can go back to them time and time again to rework them and use them as a springboard for my paintings.
