    Event: The Abbeville Fete

This event has already taken place.

Start Date: 30.06.2018. Start Time: 12:00

Location: Abbeville Road, London, SW4 9JX

This year the Abbeville Fete will take place on Saturday 30th June 2018, 12pm to 5pm.

Founded in 1997 by members of the Church of the Holy Spirit and located on Abbeville Road (AKA Abbeville Village), SW4, The Abbeville Fete celebrates London's diversity, community spirit and local enterprise by bringing Londoners and visitors together in raising funds for five local charities.

With 100 street stalls, a street BBQ and bar, a dedicated Kids Zone, strawberries and cream (inside the church), live music and even a dog show, the Abbeville Fete is one of London's main social gatherings with activities and fun for all the family.

Organised and staffed entirely by local members of the community in coordination with the church, the history and success of The Abbeville Fete is entirely down to a fleet of local volunteers giving up their time every year to organise and staff the fete. No event organisers are employed to stage the Fete.

Since its creation, The Abbeville Fete has raised an estimated £310,000 for local charities. In 2017, the Fete raised £27,000.

The Abbeville Fete, with the Church of the Holy Spirit at it's centre, stretches south and north along Abbeville Road from the junctions of Bonneville Gardens to Elms Road, including part of Narbonne Avenue.
