Suspicious van in south London, Friday 8 December
We were approached today in south London by the driver of a silver transit-style van, registration YP65 CVN, calling out of the van window asking if we were interested in a very good quality teak garden bench. Of course we said no, but a number of questions occurred to us - why was he asking random people? Where did he buy/find/steal the bench from? Has anyone lost one? Of course it may have been legitimate but frankly it didn't sound it. So worth being on the alert perhaps.
